It’s been a crazy year and the time has come. The Courier’s Code is now available in the Kindle store. Before it gets too late I want to send out a quick thank you to everyone who helped me get this project from idea to book.

I’m extremely happy with my publishing team, the cover artists, the editors, and proofreaders. This book would still be sitting on my self if it wasn’t for you all.

I have to say a special thanks to my husband. If it wasn’t for his sacrifice and willingness to live with a new indie publisher this whole thing wouldn’t be possible.

People are already starting to ask where the book will be published and I can promise you it will be in Kindle Unlimited for the time being. If you don’t like getting your books from Amazon and prefer another platform, don’t worry I’ll have lots of books in the other e-book stores within the next month.

I’m taking over the Dominion Facebook page this coming Monday, July 24th in preparation for their big launch in August.

It’s mid-June and I just found out I’ve got a super flu that their vaccinating for at our borders. Yay, I’m still alive. Boo, it’s been a week and I’m miserable. The second cover to my series arrived and it’s gorgeous! I’d have posted about it earlier except I was *head in toilet* sick so I’m shouting about it now.

This month is the second in my trilogy in three months attempt. Yesterday, despite being sick I completed book one of the series which now goes to edits. I’m still on schedule. Today, I started book two and I hope to finish it and the third before July 30th. They won’t all be edited professionally by then but I’ll be close and ready to release them on the world.

With that in mind, I’m still looking for people who are excited about strong female characters who aren’t afraid of romance and getting their hands dirty. If so, sign up to become a Valmond VIP there’s some great stuff coming your way.

It’s so hard to write, market, and publish when you’ve got to throw in a bunch of normal stuff like doing the laundry, walking the dog, cleaning the bathroom. (No, let’s be real, I’m leaving that last one for someone else). When does anyone have time to read?

Besides that I’m trying get through some of my fellow authors out there killing it with young adult fiction in the science fiction and fantasy genres.

Here’s what I figured out so far:

• Now that I’m married I don’t have nearly as much time to read as I used to.
• Netflix TV shows are getting good.
• Video games are addicting.
• There’s a lot of good books out there.

I’m going to start with Sarah J. Maas’ Throne of Glass. I’ve picked it up from the library. I love this cover wish it was mine!

I’m still tweaking things around here, but I hate to make people wait, so here’s a sample of what’s to come in 2017. An unedited excerpt from Book One of the Bolaji Kingdoms Series – The Courier’s Code

Rasha Indari is a 17-year-old courier with a perfect record and a quick temper. She gets the job done by the edge of her sword when necessary, with no allegiances to anyone, except maybe her partner Lu. Her biggest challenge yet is a fetch she can’t refuse and a drop that can’t fail. She’ll need all the help she can get whether she wants it or not.

“Yes, I need to speak with someone immediately, I have a fetch to dispute.” Rasha said speaking into the thin square communicator.

“We deliver: we don’t ask, we don’t tell, the-”

“-courier always delivers. I know the code, you robotic pumseed. No, this is above and beyond.”

“This job was requested and accepted by you.” The computerized voice droned.

“Incorrect, not requested. I demand an audience with the Courier’s Keep, I want a real being not an artificial-”

“Fetch & Drop Assignment 2-4879 requested by Luduru Moren, accepted by Rasha Jenchat.”

“Requested?”

“That is correct, requested by Luduru Mo-.” She switched off the device with a swipe of one finger and slipped the clear square back into her pouch. Then she turned to Lu.

He was already backing up but not fast enough. Rasha grabbed him by the vest and hauled him up against the opposite wall.

“What the yahtz have you done?”

“Wait, I can explain, I can explain.”
